Biography
Renei Dimla has over ten years of experience as a writer in film and television. She is a product of Jun Lana’s Screenwriting Mentorship, Bing Lao’s Found Story Workshop, and TBA Studios’ Writers’ Room. She is a recipient of the Carlos Palanca Memorial Awards for Literature for her first full length screenplay, Katay, and the Gawad CCP Para sa Alternatibong Pelikula at Video for her paint-on-glass animation, Anomi. Republika ng Pipolipinas is her full length film directorial debut.
