Documentary depicting the lives of child prostitutes in the red light district of Songachi, Calcutta. Director Zana Briski went to photograph the prostitutes when she met and became friends with their children. Briski began giving photography lessons to the children and became aware that their photography might be a way for them to lead better lives.

Rohit, a Gujarati, studies the life of Anthony Firengee, and in the process meets with a mysterious man Kushawl Hajra.

Deva, his elder brother Abhishek, and daughter-in-law came to Kolkata from the village in search of work. When Abhishek goes out to look for work, Deva and his sister in law conspires against Abhishek. Abhishek comes to know about it. Then he kills both of them.
