Chihaya Ayase has spent most of her life supporting her sister’s model career. When she meets a boy named Arata Wataya, he thinks Chihaya has potential to become a great karuta player. As Chihaya dreams of becoming Japan's best karuta player, she is soon separated from her karuta playing friends. Now in high school, Chihaya still plays karuta in the hope that she will one day meet her friends again.

Ritsu Hayakawa, a college student lives in happiness together with his sweet family; younger brother, younger sister, and mother, Kyoko. Their smile and Mom’s rice omelet always make him happy. One day, Ritsu comes to know that he doesn’t related by blood with Kyoko. He is an adopted child. Ritsu goes to see his biological mother, Maya, then he sees Maya treating his biological brother, Ruka, cruelly. Then he becomes to want to help Ruka from his mother.

The woman's fiancee, hearing of Mamiya's special skills, asks him to restore her corpse to the way she looked when she was alive.

Kazuya Uemura is an American veterinarian who has just arrived at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. Uemura was busy working as a keeper, even though he was a veterinarian, based on the director's policy of learning about dolphins while doing work as a zookeeper, such as feeding and cleaning the pool. At the end of his busy summer vacation and his work was over, something unusual happened to Fuji, the mother dolphin who gave birth to three children. Her tail was damaged from necrosis. Medicine couldn't help her condition, otherwise, Fuji would die. Uemura decided to amputate Fuji's tail fins. Fuji managed to survive the amputation but was unable to swim. The granddaughter of the director, Michiru, sees Fuji could no longer swim and says to Uemura, "A dolphin that can't swim is not a dolphin." Uemura stood up: "I want Fuji to swim again, I want Fuji to soar in the air." The world's first dolphin tail recovery project has begun.
