Lada Kaštelan

A group of trainee therapists come together for their regular group psychotherapy session, but when their normal routine is disrupted, events take an unexpected direction: as their professional masks start to slip, long repressed personal tensions soon bubble to the surface.

Through a period of five days, the story follows intertwined characters who live in false serenity and rather chaotic general order.

A young man is determined to find out what happened to his grandfather who was arrested and then disappeared in WW2, why did the new communist government label their family as traitors and why was his father killed many years later.

Based on the motifs of Slavko Batušić’s play Chamber Trio, the main characters are sisters Julia and Regina, and Regina’s husband Marcel, in the vortex of an intimate and psychological drama of unresolved marital relations.
