Matthew Thompson was born on June 23, 1994 in San Diego, California. He is a director, writer and entrepreneur. Recent credits include Magic Carpet Rides (2023), Food 2050 (2023), and Piece (2022). He is the founder of The Matt Thompson Company and Moon Tree Animation. In addition to feature-length films, he has written and directed animated shorts, global documentary series, music videos for A-list artists, and virtual reality experiences.
