A woman orders a suit from a tailor for her young son to wear to her sister's wedding. The tailor's apprentice, together with two other teenage boys who work in the same building, devise a plan to try on the suit at night to see what it feels like.

The boys of the neighborhood are dividing into two groups to run a kite. The first groups are watching the kite happily but the other group try to take it down. The kite is flew away but the sorrow of that only leads the boys of the two groups to befriend each other.

Soraya's mother is worried about her daughter's relationship with Hamid, an unemployed and penniless young man. The mother talks to Hamid and advises him to stay away from Soraya for her own good. After that, Iraj, Hamid's flashy friend, crosses Soraya's path, but Soraya rejects him. Iraj tempts Hamid to rob a company's safe. During the theft, he cleverly pushes Hamid forward and, when the police arrive, reveals that he reported the theft to the police to get closer to Soraya. After being released from prison, Hamid encounters a man at Soraya's apartment door and, believing the man is involved with Soraya, kills her. He then assaults Iraj. Hamid encounters the same man again and realizes that he is Mehri's fiancé, and that he had been suspicious of him and Soraya for no reason. He sadly reflects on his bitter fate and that of his fiancée.
