In 21st century Bucharest, to go out in the city on Saturday evening on the arm of a beautiful woman is a risky financial investment. Ovidiu, an unassuming high school teacher, never could afford it. Looking for a source of income more substantial than a teacher's salary, Ovidiu plunges into a fabulous world – the beggar mob.

Composed of six unconventional vignettes, each one dealing with the late communist period in Romania, a narrative is told through its urban myths from the perspective of ordinary people. The title refers to the alluded "Golden Age" of the last 15 years of Ceaușescu's regime.

He has some vague plans to defect - could those be the reason he is receiving mysterious phone calls? Or are they the work of his anonymous admirer?

Brothers Max and Gelu are determined to survive the COVID-19 pandemic currently sweeping Italy. The two return to their native Romanian village, where they think they will be safe. Regardless of costs or means, Max and Gelu will gain immunity to the virus...

Two brothers, trying to make sense of a world gripped by a pandemic, grasp at anything to increase their chances of survival.

Based on a true story that happened to Polish movie director Kristofer Kieslowski during the filming of Station 1981 in which some of his footage was nearly used as evidence in a criminal case. Five young men go to a Station to film a documentary about People Waiting. Deciding to finish everything in one day, they stay till late in the night. As time passes by each of the characters is influenced, in a different way, by the events in the station and the accumulated fatigue.
