The film deals with Osman's crisis of faith. Osman returns to his country from Germany, where he went to study engineering. During his time in Europe, Osman has forgotten his own culture. When he returns to his country, his father, unable to accept Osman's European lifestyle, kicks him out of the house. Osman returns to Germany and begins living with his former girlfriend Helga. One day, Helga's father asks Osman questions about Islam. These questions will remind Osman of the values he had forgotten.
