The boy was raised by his uncle Adil, a harsh man. Everyone is convinced that the love between the young ones is doomed. On the day of her wedding to an unwanted groom, Hatte elopes with Meto. Deli Mehmed, the groom’s father, sets out to seek the girl’s lover and punish him. Adil assumes responsibility for Hatte, announces that it was with him that Hatte eloped and proposes a manly duel between the suitors. Deli Mehmed announces that Adil deserves Hatte. Meto comes back, but Hatte announces that she is staying with the man who gave her protection.
