Lyudmil Todorov was a Bulgarian writer and director known for "Migration of the Belted Bonito" (2011), "Seamstresses" (2007), "Emigrants" (2002), "Two Men out of Town" (1998), "Emilia's Friends" (1996), The Love Summer of a Schlep" (1990), "Running Dogs" (1989) and "Colors in the Darkness" (1987). As an actor he appears in "Bits of Love" (1989), "Measure for Measure" (1981), "Life until Desire" (1986), "Every Kilometer" (1969-1971).

Sofia, the 90's. Emilia's colorful group of friends are portrayed in a series of separate but intertwined stories. On its own each story peers into the life of a single downtrodden person. Viewed as a whole, they portray a common struggle of coming to terms with the uncertain world these people live in, and how it all weighs on Emilia.
