Franz Kafka

A film that uses animation as a tool to spastify the various stages of cinema development. It is a play with form and juggling of genres, with Zbigniew Rybczynski collaborating. The theme of this work can be considered the transience and inevitability of fate, which is symbolized by a painting hung on the wall showing hunters in a boat. Generations of a certain family meet in the living room, up to the then present day, the mid-1970s.

Thanks to the use of the trick technique, the film shows in cross-section apartments-similar boxes, the interiors of which are inhabited by different tenants. Hundreds of events happen in the big, busy moloch house: mundane and unusual, funny and tragic. However, they are all episodes to which no significance is attached. Life goes on...
Blok

The film is a portrait of Jerzy Orłowski, an armless graphic artist. Impressionistic scenes present the protagonist in various situations: when he has to deal with everyday chores, when he jumps into water, skis and draws. Even the simplest activity requires struggle, resilience and outstanding fitness from him. Many takes are in slow motion, contemplating the smallest detail, which the director is so skilfully able to bring out.

The First Film
The villagers one day are surprised by a strange phenomenon - a high embankment begins to form all over the area. Like in a mole pit, the shifting earth destroys everything around it. After the "cataclysm", new blocks of flats - all made of concrete slab - rise in place of the destroyed farms. Only the residents, transferred to new conditions, do not change their habits.

Animated, combined film, because, in addition to the animated layer, there are actors in the film. The scientific research described here is only a pretext for uttering deeper humanistic content. In the laboratory of an old professor, horrifying research and operations on animals are carried out. These achievements are followed by an adept of natural sciences, fascinated by them. However, the initial fascination, subjected to involuntary reflection, transforms into denunciation.
