A sudden encounter between a gracefully attractive but mysterious woman, Saki, and an ordinary housewife, Eriko, who has a happy family, causes Eriko's serene daily life to fall apart. Eriko's husband, Shinji becomes the target of Saki's advances and finds himself caught between her and his wife.

Iguana Girl is a manga by Moto Hagio published in Petit Flower. It was adapted into a television drama in 1996. It is about a young girl, Rika, whose mother views her as being ugly, and favours her other daughter, Mami. Rika thinks of herself as ugly and as an iguana, but after her mother's death, realises that her mother was also an ugly iguana. Iguana Girl reflects Hagio's own relationship with her mother, and it took her "years to write this story". Hagio saw an iguana in a documentary on television and identified with it, feeling it was "lamenting its failure to become a human, just like me".
In recent years more Taiwanese students have been studying at Japanese universities. To help foster a better understanding between the two countries, Onizuka has been invited to a one-week teaching assistant program at a Taiwanese high school. He takes Ryuuji with him and sets off. Their first day there, they encounter Saejima and their Taiwanese legend behind. The high school where Onizuka's been staying is ruled by a man who's gained power and money by financing the city's redevelopment. “Bullying is a game.” Anyone who disobeys his son, even the teachers, is kicked out of the school, with no exceptions. Makoto Aida, 23, is a first year detective...a rookie. The only thing the rookie detective has going for him is the fact that he is a nice guy. He somehow winds up helping out in the apprehension of a suspect of a brutal crime, and gets awarded a letter of recommendation, which incidentally is to become a detective. A comical look at the Japanese legal system. Big corporate law firm seeking to increase their profit margin notices that a lot of the partners spend a lot of their time on cases which don't bring in a lot of revenue. They decide they need to hire an average lawyer, at a minimal salary, that will take care of these small cases and not complain. That's why the law firm hires Hanamura Daisuke (Yusuke Santamaria)...to handle these minor cases. Daisuke's approach to the law is very unique and the way he handles each case is very entertaining
Sayama Michio is a young and callous beautician who will stop at nothing to fulfill his ambition(s). Coming from an impoverished background, he suddenly becomes the darling of the beauty world. He holds women who desire beauty captive and puts on several different faces when dealing with Murase Minako, the female owner of the place that he works at; Hatano Masako, a woman of leisure; and Fukuchi Fujiko, an editor of a weekly magazine to come out tops. He also gets involved with two detectives who are investigating him for a prior incident.
This is a light-hearted, typical high-school "girl-has-crush-on-boy" type of drama. The main character, Otonashi Karen, was only used to gazing at her crush from a distance, until one day she misinterpreted his line while eavesdropping, turning her usual, timid self into a fancy "Barbie-doll" to attract his attention. The guy, of course, found her ridiculous and unbearable. Nevertheless, this drama traces the "fairy-tale-like" yet somehow sweet process of Karen's devotion to this guy. Each and every episode also shows how Karen's enthusiasm momentarily melts his heart, leaving him smiling with pure amusement, which indicates his growing fondness towards her.
The special will be set several months after the events of the drama. "Onizuka" learns of the imminent closure of the "Smile Duck" orphanage ("White Swan" in the original manga) due to a certain city development plan and some conflicts of interest for the politicians involved. Of course, he cannot let that happen, and together with his students from class 2-4, he will do everything possible to protect the orphanage.
This live-action Japanese TV series is based on Tetsu Adachi's manga. The series is split into two parts, each one consisting of six episodes. The first part is based on the manga's original storyline and, of course, focuses on Keiko Nakadai and her infamous rise to fame. The second part, on the other hand, has a completely original storyline made exclusively for this TV series that focuses on the adventures of another woman, Ryoko Makino, after she is chosen as a new weather anchor on TV.
