Iguana Girl is a manga by Moto Hagio published in Petit Flower. It was adapted into a television drama in 1996. It is about a young girl, Rika, whose mother views her as being ugly, and favours her other daughter, Mami. Rika thinks of herself as ugly and as an iguana, but after her mother's death, realises that her mother was also an ugly iguana. Iguana Girl reflects Hagio's own relationship with her mother, and it took her "years to write this story". Hagio saw an iguana in a documentary on television and identified with it, feeling it was "lamenting its failure to become a human, just like me".

Kisaragi Sumi is a 20-year-old university student. But do not be surprised that she is a 65-year-old inside. Under pressure to help out with the family business from a young age, she could not have a youth. Even afterwards, she devoted her entire life to taking care of first her grandmother and then her father and mother. Sumi finds herself turning 65 without ever having had a boyfriend. She takes a little pride in having lived with integrity. But after her mother passes away, she has the sudden thought of regaining her youth once more and making a fresh start in life. A miracle happens to her. One day when Sumi wakes up, she has the appearance of a 20-year-old. From the 2011 drama, Utsukushi Rinjin, Nakama Yukie reprises the character Saki. This time round, as Saki Amihama, she will be targeting men. With the facade of an angel, she draws men to her, only to lead them to a destructive end. Like a moth to the flame... but where is the line drawn between the saint and the devil?

At the five star Forumonto Hotel, Toko Amano works as a rookie concierge. Her senior concierge is Kazuma Honjo and the general manager is Ryusuke Washio. They are friendly and restrained with the customers at the Forumonto Hotel. Whenever problems occur, the various departments at the hotel work together to place a smile on the customer's face.

This live-action Japanese TV series is based on Tetsu Adachi's manga. The series is split into two parts, each one consisting of six episodes. The first part is based on the manga's original storyline and, of course, focuses on Keiko Nakadai and her infamous rise to fame. The second part, on the other hand, has a completely original storyline made exclusively for this TV series that focuses on the adventures of another woman, Ryoko Makino, after she is chosen as a new weather anchor on TV.

The story follows Ryota Mizusawa, a kitchen unit salesman, and Masumi Sakaki, a hand model and single mother of two children. Due to a real estate scam, both Ryota and Masumi are sold the same apartment. To retain their new home, they decide to pose as a married couple, leading to a series of comedic and heartfelt situations as they navigate their unconventional living arrangement.

This is a light-hearted, typical high-school "girl-has-crush-on-boy" type of drama. The main character, Otonashi Karen, was only used to gazing at her crush from a distance, until one day she misinterpreted his line while eavesdropping, turning her usual, timid self into a fancy "Barbie-doll" to attract his attention. The guy, of course, found her ridiculous and unbearable. Nevertheless, this drama traces the "fairy-tale-like" yet somehow sweet process of Karen's devotion to this guy. Each and every episode also shows how Karen's enthusiasm momentarily melts his heart, leaving him smiling with pure amusement, which indicates his growing fondness towards her.

Sayama Michio is a young and callous beautician who will stop at nothing to fulfill his ambition(s). Coming from an impoverished background, he suddenly becomes the darling of the beauty world. He holds women who desire beauty captive and puts on several different faces when dealing with Murase Minako, the female owner of the place that he works at; Hatano Masako, a woman of leisure; and Fukuchi Fujiko, an editor of a weekly magazine to come out tops. He also gets involved with two detectives who are investigating him for a prior incident.

Naoki is smart, handsome and athletic. His friend Sano takes him to watch a tennis game where he falls in love at first sight with Haruka. He asks her out. They get to know each other while trying to balance their studies.

In recent years more Taiwanese students have been studying at Japanese universities. The high school where Onizuka's been staying is ruled by a man who's gained power and money by financing the city's redevelopment. “Bullying is a game.” Anyone who disobeys his son, even the teachers, is kicked out of the school, with no exceptions. At an all-Taiwanese high school, Onizuka's more of place than he's ever been in his life. And what about Ryuuji, who's escaping with a mysterious young girl from some thugs? And where did Saejima go?

The national university entrance examination is coming up and the students of Class 3/4, which Onizuka Eikichi (AKIRA) is in charge of, enter exam mode. Onizuka who conducts career counselling for the students with assistant form teacher Fuyutsuki Azusa (Takimoto Miori), questions their mentality of aiming for a good university in order to get into a good company.

The special will be set several months after the events of the drama. "Onizuka" learns of the imminent closure of the "Smile Duck" orphanage ("White Swan" in the original manga) due to a certain city development plan and some conflicts of interest for the politicians involved. Of course, he cannot let that happen, and together with his students from class 2-4, he will do everything possible to protect the orphanage.
