Witse is a Dutch language crime drama produced by Belgian broadcaster VRT and broadcast on their één channel. It is also shown on BVN. First broadcast in 2004, as of 2010 the programme comprises eight series with a ninth and final series planned for 2012. It stars Hubert Damen as the eponymous Witse, a driven inspector in the Belgian federal police based in Halle. It is one of the most popular Flemish television programmes with some 1.6 million viewers. There are also Witse books. The first three were based on the last two episodes of each season, but since 2010 every six months a brand new story is published, written and invented by established Belgian writers, as Bob Van Laerhoven and Bart Van Lierde. The music for Witse is composed by Steve Willaert.

'De Kotmadam' was a classic Flemish comedy television series, that aired from 1991 to 2024, meaning the show is the longest running Belgian sitcom in terms of time and amounts of episodes and seasons. The series revolves around Jeanne Piens, who owns a small sweet shop in the centre of Leuven and rents out several rooms of her house to students studying in the city. She is a caring type and loves all her students. Her husband Jef Liefooghe works for the city's gardening department. Except for the last season, their friend Odilon Bonheur, a naïve warden in the local prison, visits regularly to give or seek help.

Vermist is a Dutch language crime drama produced by Belgian broadcaster VT4 and Netherlands production company Eyeworks. It is broadcast on VT4 and a French language version—Urgence disparitions—is shown by W9. Based on the characters and background of the successful Flemish film Vermist, the first episode was broadcast on March 25, 2008. A second season was broadcast in 2010.

The Flemish harmony Sint-Cecilia from Staaikerke and the Walloon harmony En Avant are both selected for the big European finale. The Walloon En Avant comes up with the great trumpeter Hugues. Hugues is so amazing during his solo that Willy, from the Flemish Sint-Cecilia, has to give everything he has, the highest note, the lowest note, the last note... Willy falls dead on stage. Surprising everyone, both harmonies get selected for the finale. But what will the Flemish do without their best player? Elke, the daughter of conductor Jozef, has an idea. A transfer! Situated after the war in Antwerp, Belgium. The port is developing and old villages like Oosterdonk have to be torn down because more space is needed for the industry. The show depicts life around 1960 before the village disappeared and at the same time is about life 35 years on at the funeral of one of the protagonists, long after the village is gone.
