Pichumani and Uma are about to get married when the wedding is stopped due to certain circumstances, creating a rift between the families. However, Pichumani's uncle decides to help them get married.

Subramaniam wants to marry his aunt's daughter Priya as per his father's wish. But he is rejected by Priya's father. When Subramaniam's father falls ill, Priya agrees to fake a relationship with him.
