After ten years of marriage, Philippe and Catherine finally have the joy of having a baby: Julie. For these two extended teenagers, it's the end of night outings and improvised weekends. She is quickly overwhelmed and Philippe, who runs an advertising company, is not often there. On the other hand, the family - grandmother or godfather - is too much. And then she begins to choke. As a fashion designer, she first tries to work at home but can not share herself between her professional and maternal activities. Philippe tries to help her, in vain, then abandons to flee to Deauville for an extra-marital weekend. She will not forgive him and will disappear with Julie. And years go by before the little girl who grew up finds herself again between her mother and her father, accompanying her, for the first time, to school.

The Martin family is shopping in a department store. Tiennot is responsible for looking after his little brother, Bébert, but he prefers to chase girls. On the train home, Tiennot leaves Bébert alone. On arrival, Bébert has disappeared. The Martin family sets out to find him.

Denis, a hypersensitive teenager, is revolted both against his distant, pretentious, well-to-do parents and their superficial society firends and the stiff, intolerant catholic establishment in which he studies. Fortunately,he has an open-minded philosophy teacher, Father Philippe de Maubrun, who understands him and supports him in his distress.

A young boy is hired as a lift attendant in a grand hotel when his mother dies. To fulfill his dream, he takes part in a competition organized by the manager, and wins 1st prize: a two-day stay in one of the princely suites. He wants to share the experience with his young girlfriend, the florist, but discovers that she has betrayed him and returns to her elevator.
