Velum Mayilum Thunai (English: Support with Spear and Peacock) is a 1979 Tamil Hindu devotional film directed and written by Ra. Sankaran with dialogue by Rajasekaran. The film was produced by Ra. Ma. Narayanan and Vijayalakshmi Subramaniyam. The music was composed by Shankar - Ganesh. The film stars M. R. Radha(dual role) and Baby Sudha.

Then Sindhudhe Vaanam is a 1975 Indian Tamil-language film starring Sivakumar and Kamal Haasan in the lead roles. It was directed by Ra. Sankaran and produced by V.C. Ganesan. V. Kumar composed the soundtracks. Two beautiful melodious songs were also the special reasons for the film's fame.

The movie deals with four friends. While they plan to go on a holiday, a young woman (Kanchana) sneaks into the bungalow, fleeing from danger, and begs the hero to offer her solace for two days. He agrees and the trip is cancelled. Kanchanca and Ravichandran fall in love. Another woman (Vijaya Chandrika) suddenly appears one night and leaves her child, Baby Shanthi, with a note claiming that she is Mali’s daughter. Mali asserts that he has never seen the baby before and asserts that he doesn’t know the woman in the letter. But he falls for the child and brings her up with love and affection.
