Les Cinq Dernieres Minutes is a crime based French television series
Vietnam, 1954. An American reporter finds himself in the middle of the battle of Điện Biên Phủ, between the French army and the Vietminh.
A film with emphasis on visuals and music, the plot concerns characters who meet in present time, mainly the male gypsy Jesus, and the female thief and con-artist Odona, who share parallel experiences from lives 2000 years in the past. These stories are juxtaposed.
Coming from a Royan bourgeois background, Philippe and Bertrand are linked by a virile but exclusive affection. One day, Philippe disappears. Bertrand ends up finding his trace in Tahiti.
