Two transfer students, Takashi Mitsuhashi and Shinji Itō, tired of their boring normal life and unpopularity, decide to take their arrival at a new school as an opportunity to reinvent their image, and become delinquents. The duo set out on various misadventures to become the greatest delinquents in all Japan!
Shūichirō Kiriyama works at the Limitation Task Force, the place where the cases which have reached the statute of limitations are destroyed. Getting bored of his job, he decides to find a hobby, because it seems important to him to have a hobby. So he decides to puzzle out the unsolved cases on his free time, helped by his coworker Mikazuki, who seems to have a crush on him.
Tsukiko Otonashi is a fashionista who is too beautiful to be a detective. She is also intrigued by urban legends so much so that she believes all crimes are somehow linked to these legends. She even conducts her investigations in such a way as to prove them to be true. Tsukiko also likes to make use of whatever she can. She especially likes to enlist the help of crime lab officer Hitoro Katsuura, who happens to have a crush on her. Many other unique characters will make appearances as she investigates the crimes related to urban legends, using odd and exquisite techniques.
Kanade Takakura is an elite detective from the New York Police department. He has a very keen sense of judgement but is cold and inflexible. He decides to take his manga manuscripts to a publishing company in Tokyo.
This season is going to be set 100 years after Yuusha Yoshihiko to Maou no Shiro. It will star all the main characters from the first season.
