A Soviet propaganda miniseries about the Bolshevik coup in 1917-18. Along with the portrayal of fictional characters, the film recreates the images of historical figures from this period.

Cheered up by the revolutionary zeal, courage and energy of their leader, Nikolai Alexandrovitch Shchors, in 1919 the peasants and workers' groups gathered in the civil war- devastated Ukraine, to defeat the foreign conquerors and enemies of the revolution. However, it does not take long until a new danger threatens: this time the Polish Pans enter Ukraine, and General Dragomirov marches to Kiev. Shchors, however, gathers the revolutionary forces of the country and brings them to a victorious counter-attack.

Aviation school. Future officers of the jet squadron are engaged in practical studies. When performing a training assignment, cadet Korenyuk violates flight discipline. The instructor pilot, considering Korenyuk to be a talented cadet, forgives him for this offense. Boris Zhadanovsky, a hereditary nobleman and officer who was predicted to have a brilliant military career, sides with the rebellious people. In 1905, Zhadanovsky is sentenced to death for his revolutionary activities. However, a powerful strike movement organized in response to the court's decision forces the tsarist government to commute the sentence to life imprisonment. After the revolution, Zhadanovsky joins the Red Army and dies fighting the White Army.

On April 1944, Joseph Stalin orders the Red Army to liberate the Crimea from the German occupiers. The Wehrmacht's local commanders beg Hitler to allow them to retreat from the vulnerable position, but he refuses. After a fierce battle, the Soviet forces destroy the German and Romanian units defending the peninsula and retake Sevastopol.

A seriously ill patient is brought to the clinic of a research institute. Young doctor Falko, a resident at the institute, insists on an urgent operation, but his supervisor Druz believes that in this case therapeutic treatment will be more effective and, moreover, will not be associated with risk. Professor Shostenko nevertheless undertakes to operate on the patient. The successfully completed operation confirms the diagnosis made by Falko. Parallel to the events in the clinic, the action unfolds in the house of the director of the institute Shostenko, where his son Igor returns after a three-year absence. The complicated relationship between Igor and his wife, the love story of Shostenko's daughter and Druz - the canvas of the second plot of the film.

The February Revolution did not bring the desired peace to the trenches. Russian and Ukrainian soldiers, deceived by Kerensky's government, are dying on the slopes of the Carpathians. But the words of Bolshevik truth penetrate the trenches, and the soldiers refuse to go to the slaughter. Among the front-line soldiers returning home is a young Ukrainian named Taras Holota. He dreams of joyful reunions, but instead attends the funeral of his mother, who was killed by the Haidamaks. The landless peasantry is starving, and Golota rallies his fellow villagers to divide up the landowners' fields...

Anatoly Ruchyov is quite a talented guy. One day he decides to enter a prestigious Soviet university — the institute of international relations. But, alas, he overestimates his strength and doesn't achieve his goal. This saddens the young man a little, but he doesn't even think to lower his hands. Anatoly decides to go to military service and reach heights in this area. At first, it is a little lost, but, after the time has elapsed, it is mastered, because there is nowhere to go. Slowly he turns into a real exemplary fighter.

Based on a play by Ivan Franko. Anna married Mykola, but does not love him. She likes young Michael. Against the background of the picturesque Carpathian mountains in the nineteenth century unfolds the eternal drama of love and jealousy.

Comedy film-performance of the Franko Theater based on the play by Oleksa Kolomiyets. The place of action is an ordinary village in the period of Soviet power, where all leading positions are occupied exclusively by men. But after one stormy night with songs and a lot of moonshine, the men wake up to find that now women are in charge of everything and they behave just like men.
