Aravindan, Chandu and Joy are best friends. Their friendship faces a testing time when Aravindan's sister falls in love with Chandu.

Diwakaran (Jagadish), a medical sales rep, is also a thief, unbeknown to everyone but his pal Chaandy (Kalabhavan Mani). Mistaking retired school teacher Aravindakshan (Premachandran) for a politician, Diwakaran steals jewelry from him, which Aravindakshan had intended for his daughter's marriage. The cop investigating the case, Jayashankar (Vijayaraghavan), becomes Diwakaran's brother-in-law, to the latter's shock. Jayashankar then brings a proposal for Diwakaran - Aravindakshan's daughter!

A young man marries a Tamil girl, and fearing his family, he brings her to the house as a servant. Problem starts when his elder brothers falls for her too.

Balachandran follows in his father's footsteps and becomes a politician to help people. But when he is framed for a crime and sent to jail by some corrupt politicians, he decides to take revenge.

Chackappan & Pappu forget their differences & unite, but soon after, Pappu is shot dead by a mysterious sniper & Antony sets out to find the killer.

The film revolves around the political scenario of Indian politics in the mid nineties. The protagonist played by Suresh Gopi who seeks revenge for his girlfriend's murder and bringing out the political conspiracies of Indian central politics where religion, cast, and underworld plays a significant role.
