In her next job in a restaurant kitchen, Louise scrambles up her powder puff and her biscuits. The cook orders her to lighten them up. She blows them up like balloons, but they come out like rubber balls and so she is bounced out of that job. In her next position as housekeeper to a rich family, she throws a party for her friends when the family goes on vacation and they turn the house topsy-turvy.

A slick city crook arrives in the town and succeeds in making honest Nell fall in love with him. He then suggests an entertainment with local talent, the while his confederates crack the safe and make off with the town's wealth. Nell, with her faithful but brainless lover, journeys to the city in pursuit of the loot and the looter

The movie starts out with Marie as The Girl in the Case in love with Neal Burns, “Her Sweetheart.” But her dad wants her to marry someone else (Chester Conklin) and takes her away on vacation to get her away from Her Sweetheart. He follows them, disguised as a widow. There is a genuinely funny scene where Marie is disguised as a man to go meet her boyfriend disguised as a widow, and slapstick happens which results in Chester being found in his underpants with the widow in a barn.

Bill is a married telephone worker, who gets chased around by a lot of people.

Cactus Nell

Slapstick comedy about a poor and unlucky life of a inventor.

Rip, an eccentric and somewhat clumsy tailor, and his wife manage his tailoring business. His attempts at control lead to a series of physical gags and chaotic misunderstandings involving his customers, his wife, and even "an unusual husband" (played by Hughie Mack) and his "pretty wife" (played by Myrtle Lind).

This ceremony requires greenbacks but the groom came up short.

Billy, while wearily trudging along the road, sees the San Diego Fair in the near distance. Believing that he might make some money if he could get inside, he steals in under a visitor's coat tails and after wandering through the interesting streets he sits down on a bench to rest. An old rounder sees Peggy and follows her as she runs from him to the store of her friend, an excitable Italian, who pursues her annoyer and punishes him. Billy and the old rounder meet. They are old friends and the rounder laughs when he sees Billy meet two girls and invite them to dinner, for he suspects that bill has no money. Bill, of course, has none, and when the proprietress demands her pay he suggests to the girls that they should pitch dice to see who shall settle.

Web of office romance entanglements lead to slapstick hijinks at a fly paper company.
