Biography
Yolanda McClary (born Yolanda Anna Gonzalez) is a former crime scene investigator who starred alongside Kelly Siegler on TNT's true crime investigation series Cold Justice, for the first 3 seasons. She has also appeared in other true crime shows including TNT's Cold Justice: The Odds (2017), The Jane Doe Murders (2021) and The DNA of Murder with Paul Holes (2019). She inspired Marg Helgenberger's character on the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. McClary worked for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for 26 years and 16 of those years were dedicated to working in the crime lab. She has investigated over 7,000 crime scenes. During the last two years of McClary's career, she solely worked on crimes to not only catch the perpetrator, but also to be able to link them to multiple cases for prosecution. She investigated these crimes in conjunction with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Henderson Police Department and North Las Vegas Police Department.
