The authorities at an adult education center (called CACHADA) are about to receive an inspection that worries them. On the same plane as the inspector is a student with a similar last name, whom they mistake for the inspector. Meanwhile, the students are rehearsing musical numbers at night, having promised to perform at a club. This is discovered by the teachers and the inspector, who decide to punish their students.
