Biography

She began her career as a performer at the Theatre College of Barcelona, complementing her training with seminars and workshops in various techniques and styles, with a particular focus on physical theatre such as Lecoq at Estudis de Teatre, Michael Chekhov, and workshops at the Roy Hart Centre Artistique. In October 2018, her casting in Servir y proteger, the daily series on La 1, was announced, where she portrayed police inspector Silvia Orestes, appearing in more than 200 episodes. At the end of 2023, her involvement in Sueños de libertad, the daily series on Antena 3, was confirmed, in which she plays Marta de la Reina. Awards and Recognition In 2006, she presented the documentary Cineastas contra magnates, which won the Goya Award for Best Documentary Film. In 2007, the documentary Cineastas en acción, in which she collaborated, also received the Goya Award in the same category. In 2024, the television series Sueños de Libertad, where she portrays Doña Marta de la Reina, was awarded “Most Popular Series” at the Almería International Film Festival (FICAL). In 2025, the same series won “Best Daily Broadcast Series” at FICAL, and in the same year she received the Augusto Talent Award for Women in Projection at the Zaragoza Film Festival.

La que se avecina is a Spanish television comedy created by Alberto Caballero, Laura Caballero and Daniel Deorador. The TV-series focusing around the inhabitants of Mirador de Montepinar, a fictional building located on the outskirts of a big city. Both its storylines and cast are heavily based on Aquí no hay quien viva, which ended when Telecinco bought Miramón Mendi, the series production company. The episodes debuted on the Telecinco network, and were later rerun by the same network as well as cable/satellite channels FactoríaDeFicción and Paramount Comedy. The series debuted in 22 April 2007 and became popular thanks to its funny characters, witty script, use of catchphrases and capacity to integrate and poke fun at contemporary issues; the program presents a caustic satire of many of the 'types' found in Spanish society. The name of the show involves wordplay, as "vecina" is the Spanish word for neighbour.

Bea is a successful architect who lives in Barcelona (Catalonia, northeast to Spain) with her boyfriend and boss, Víctor, a CEO of an important company. During a night celebration of an important contract signed to make a skyscraper designed by Bea, in the bar appears the famous TV reporter and anchorwoman Rebecca Ramos, Victor's personal erotic fantasy. Not measuring the consequences of her actions due to the alcohol she drank, Bea makes a meeting between Víctor and Rebecca. When to the next day she wakes up, Víctor proposes to wed Bea and she accepts, but after she arrives to the job, Bea learns about a videotape where Víctor and Rebecca make the love in a car that it's in all TV channels. In front of all CEOs during a full meeting, Bea slaps Víctor and destroys her design, being fired from the job. Looking for a break, she travels her natal coastal town, Santa Clara, just to discover that her rest isn't so easy as it seems: her eccentric, free-spirited and eternal smiling mother ...
