Marinus van der Lubbe (* 13 janvier 1909 à Leyde (ou selon d'autres sources à Oegstgeest), Pays-Bas; † 10 janvier 1934 à Leipzig) est l'incendiaire présumé du Reichstag à Berlin dans la nuit du 27 au 28 février 1933, quelques semaines après la nomination d'Adolf Hitler à la chancellerie. Condamné à la peine de mort pour haute trahison, il a été exécuté le 10 janvier 1934. L'incendie du Reichstag servit de prétexte à Hitler pour établir sa dictature. Marinus van der Lubbe était anarchiste selon les uns, militant communiste conseilliste selon les autres. La condamnation à mort a été finalement déclarée illégale le 10 janvier 2008 par les services du procureur fédéral allemand.
