The film tells the story of two Black Sea families who arrange a marriage between their children. Hulusi and Atıf are the leaders of two families who were once enemies. Their children, Suat and Pervin, who were born on the same day, are married through an arranged marriage. Years later, the families meet in Istanbul to formalize Suat and Pervin's marriage. Suat is a womanizer who has lived in Europe for many years. Hearing about Suat's notorious womanizing, Pervin plays a trick on him. She introduces herself as Gülizar, a singer. Suat falls in love with Gülizar and looks for ways to escape from his betrothed, Pervin. However, Atıf Bey tells Suat that if he does not marry Pervin, they will kill Gülizar. Suat, who wants to save Gülizar's life, reluctantly agrees to marry Pervin.
