Three war-torn strangers posing as a family flee Sri Lanka’s civil war to start over in a troubled Paris suburb, but their past traumas resurface as they struggle to survive in their new environment.

The life of internationally renowned artist and activist Nan Goldin is told through her slideshows, intimate interviews, ground-breaking photography, and rare footage of her personal fight to hold the Sackler family accountable for the overdose crisis.

Born into a modest family, Hélène left the Vosges a long time ago. Today, a sudden burn-out forces her to leave Paris and return to the place where she grew up. One evening, in the parking lot of a franchised restaurant, she spots Christophe Marchal, the charismatic field hockey prodigy from her high school days. An unexpected love affair begins between these two people, who are now at odds with each other.

There, in his homeland, he begins to wrestle with his memories, guilt, and instincts towards revenge- as well as the cyclical chain-reaction of violence and conflict he was brought up in.

Offer it a new dimension through treatment particular to image and sound. Exploiting the aesthetic and fictional potential of a situation who has a documentary source and question the viewer's perception by this vision voluntarily transformed and altered by the rate of registration. Play on a gap or even an anachronism between the evocation of images and reality from which they are extracted.
