Finally, Dono admits that he raped Cia, his own wife. He did that, as he cannot perform in a normal situation. Dono can only do what Kromodongso did to his mother. Cia is happy because Dono is truly a man.

Nurhayati’s husband dies in an accident and she is left with four small children. Nur herself knows that she will not live long, as her doctor reveals that she must undergo a heart and lung transplant, with a little chance of survival. After telling the real situation to her father and to her eldest child, Asih, the children are brought to the families she considers as able to raise them. How lucky she is that the three families are eager to accept her children. On a birthday party of her youngest child, she feels at ease and dies.

Aline becomes pregnant by Andre in Paris, where she learns fashion. Their relationship is broken when Andre asks Aline to have an abortion. Aline returns to Indonesia with Prasetyo, a dance choreographer and together, they raise Aline’s child. Years later, Andre returns to Indonesia and causes Aline to be confused between returning to Paris or to remain in Indonesia.

Sora has to work really hard to support her family, by giving swimming lessons and being a model, as her husband Sony is unreliable. But with the help of an idealist young lawyer, Singgih, and a loyal friend, Devina, Sora manages to survive.
