The web series follows film student Jay Merrick (Troy Wagner) as he investigates what happened to the student film Marble Hornets, abandoned by its director Alex Kralie (Joseph DeLage) after encountering the Slender Man (called "the Operator").

A small town news team discovers a box of videotapes wherein a faceless figure, dressed in a dark suit, haunts and torments a family...slowly driving them insane. Soon after, they realize that the 'Operator' has begun to stalk them as well.

*Marble Hornets: Rosswood* is a miniseries set within the *Marble Hornets* universe. The series follows Alex Kralie and Jay Merrick as they investigate Rosswood Hospital in search of information about urban legends and disappearances for Alex's webseries *Kralie: In The Reel World*. The miniseries has been confirmed as non-canonical by the creators.

Kralie in the Reel World is a documentary series about the attempts of the filmmaker duo Alex Kralie and Jay Merrick to investigate the impact of art on the real world. Her latest episode is about an insight into the history and present of Rosswood's abandoned hospital. They intend to film at the actual location together with Rosswood's local historian and companion Jodi Locke to verify the accuracy of the documentary. Except... none of this is right, right?

Marble Hornets is an American found footage web series created by Troy Wagner, Joseph DeLage, and Tim Sutton. It is a pseudo-documentary based on the Slender Man online mythos. The first video posted to YouTube was on June 20, 2009, 10 days after Eric Knudsen made the original images of Slender Man on the Something Awful forums.
