Caleb, "son of nobody" (Enrico Montesano) lives in Galilee in Jesus' day and struggles as a thief and con-man, pretending to be a magician. When he witnesses Jesus turning water into wine, he thinks he's found a competitor. So Caleb goes on, convinced that Jesus is a fake just as he is, always trying to figure out his tricks. In the meantime, he gets involved with a prostitute (played by Edwige Fenech), but also with the wife of a Roman patrician (played by the equally alluring Bernadette Lafont), he steals a few goats and cons a few people, he befriends a lovable dog and gets in trouble with some Roman soldiers.

Five young men dream of success as they drift lazily through life in a small Italian village. Fausto, the group's leader, is a womanizer; Riccardo craves fame; Alberto is a hopeless dreamer; Moraldo fantasizes about life in the city; and Leopoldo is an aspiring playwright. As Fausto chases a string of women, to the horror of his pregnant wife, the other four blunder their way from one uneventful experience to the next.

A journalist preparing a story on extremist youth falls in love with a young radical who fears being killed by his companions when he is unable to commit a political assassination.

In Italy, small-town newlyweds Wanda and Ivan Cavalli embark on their honeymoon in the big city of Rome. Ivan dutifully wants to keep appointments with family and church, but Wanda is only interested in meeting her favorite photo-strip star known as "The White Sheik". While Wanda impetuously sneaks away to locate the object of her affections, disconsolate Ivan tries his hardest to keep up appearances with the couple's relatives.

A young Roman receives from his mother, who is dying, a shocking news: he is the natural son of Adolf Hitler, conceived during a fling between the Führer and the lady during the visit that the German dictator made to Italy in 1938.

The movie is basically two unrelated comedic features: the first one features the travails of a man who stutters and tries to woo a woman he wants to date. The second features the wonderful Renato Pozetto as a gay man who lives with a partner, but finds himself falling for a woman, and not knowing how to tell his partner, who is prone to melodrama.

Angela Russo, a sixteen-year-old girl, is found dead in a river, having been fatally violated with a large blunt instrument. Inspector Di Salvo is assigned to the case and focuses his investigations on St. Theresa's, the exclusive school where Angela boarded. Three of the murdered girl's classmates, Franca, Paola and Virginia (who call themselves "The Inseparables"), receive threatening poems from an individual using the name "Nemesis." Bizarre "accidents" start to befall the girls: Franca is injured when someone causes her horse to bolt and Virginia nearly breaks her neck on marbles left at the top of a staircase. But Di Salvo is determined to find the killer, even if it means using unorthodox methods. He is aided by Angela Russo's little sister Emily, whose helpful clues lead to a boutique owned by a dubious character and a vice ring where "rich influential men pay well for teenage favours..."

In the 1960s, Silvana, a beautiful girl from the countryside, decides to spend the night in Rome after missing the last bus home. Without a place to stay, she seeks refuge in an under-construction attic. There, she meets a young man, leading to a short-lived romance. He opens her eyes to the wonders of the economic boom shaping the capital in those years. Despite the chaos of buses, protests, and big stores, Silvana chooses to make Rome her home.

Francesca and Sandro meet, falls for each other and get married. But the differences between them are too many and the separation is around the corner.

Five different episodes unfold against the backdrop of Italian historical and political events in 1922. In the first, in the aftermath of the March on Rome, two scoundrels speculate on the event. In the second, a punitive expedition enters the home of a socialist deputy. In the third, the fascists rob a countess. In the fourth, a disgraced marshal incriminates a fascist Camorra member. In the fifth, there is the story of an encounter at the seaside.

A famous singer abandons his wife and goes to live abroad with a woman he met in a nightclub. A car accident upsets his life - he loses his job and his new love but he regains his sons and peace of mind.
