Ukraine, goodbye! - Ukrainian film Almanac — a collection of short films about the acute social problem of Ukraine-emigration abroad. The collection includes 25 short films in Ukrainian or Russian.

Five kids are biking harshly down the streets of some Ukrainian city. Suddenly, one of them falls off the bike and injures himself badly. There is chance to save the kid. For doing this his friends have to organize an ambulance. In the world the characters live this simple action turns to be an impossibly hard task.

One of the first video works from the multimedia project Body Practices, aimed to initiate a public dialogue about body and sexuality as an important factor in the formation of a culture.

The film is a story of love, but also the consequences of revealing cultural and social prejudices. The main protagonist tries to show to a couple of observers the variety of interpersonal relationships. Their attitude, to start with – mocking, gradually becomes reflective. The title of the work alludes to Ian Dury’s cult song Sex&Drugs & Rock&Roll. The artist draws attention to the different possible meanings of the word ‘drugs’– a means of intoxication but also a curative treatment.

Pregnant Lesia with no perspective for the future lives in expectation of a miracle. Together with her friend Olia she works as saleswoman at the kiosk at night. During the day she sleeps, so she won’t have to listen to her unemployed mother’s reproaches. That’s why she calls herself an owl. Every night while going to work Lesia thinks that something’s going to happen and her life will change. Every morning the girl goes home depressed because nothing has happened. Day and night, reality and girl’s nightmares blend. She is destined for the same losses – both in her life and her dreams.

The Girl and the Boy play in a garden. They are left alone there, and they do not have any obligations to behave in a certain way. This gives them the freedom to create their own ways of interaction with the world. During such an interaction, adult social constructs intertwine into weird children’s folklore and shift into an abstract sphere. There are secrets and various modes of being in the world of the Girl and the Boy.

Oksana and Sasha used to have so much in common in their native Western Ukraine industrial town Novoyavorivsk but they have parted. So, is it possible that the best friends, the hometown and the first love become alienated?

The Fabulous Squirt is a female superhero who possesses the power to queer the norm. Pink, blue and violet are added to black, the binary becomes infinite variability, the weapon turns to confetti and celebration of life.

“Mariupolchanka” is a women's football team. Its members, namely team captain Yana Vynokurova and coach Karina Kulakovska, were able to reinvent the team after they were disqualified from the Premier Football League, because the former leadership of the team has violated the rules. In 2018, at the time of filming, the goal of the team was to return to the Premier League on their own, without the former leadership. The women were able to find training facilities, attract new team members, and find money for props, salaries and travel expenses.

Contemporary History of Ukraine is a performative walk that examines transpersonal landscapes of memories, and geographically situated ecologies of feelings across various Ukrainian localities. While the walk is mediated via digital environments (personal videos, recorded conversations, google maps, etc.), it is based on various footage and chats with different people with whom Kazmina has friendships, intimacies, partnerships, and shared walks. To a large extent, the walk consists of the footage of the documentary project Underwater on which Kazmina has been working since 2015. From the nowadays' perspective of Russia's full-scale invasion, the work observes the chains and ruptures of collective digitized sensitivity, as well as fragile relations between bodies and territories that are neglected within the logic of informational warfare.

A short film exploring the nature of pain and pleasure and the feelings of guilt and loneliness.

One day up-and-coming painter AntiGonna decides to burn all of her pictures and start shooting horror-porn films which are perceived as provocative and shocking instead. In reality though they are allegories for the fears, perversions and childhood trauma that AntiGonna has been repressing for years. With each new film the artist reveals an unpleasant truth with uncompromising honesty, in the process reconquering her rightful place in a society characterised by taboos.

What would the official history be if events could be edited differently? What would our everyday life be like if we could create new experiences instead of recreating existing ones? We need to make a collage of Utopias out of the world to bring back the magic.
