KL Jay, artistic name of Kleber Geraldo Lelis Simões (São Paulo, August 10, 1969), is a Brazilian DJ, member of the rap group Racionais MC's. It is up to him to create the bases, which are those beats that accompany the lyric, giving the right rhythm for these to be sung.
