Biography
Formé par le mime Jacques Durbec, Jacques Courtès intègre au début de sa carrière le Conservatoire de Marseille. Ses performances d’acteur lui permettent de collaborer avec des metteurs en scène de renom tel Robert Hossein, mais aussi de se produire en solo à l’occasion de sa pièce Un Cri silencieux qu’il interprétera à l’Olympia. Malgré sa formation et ses rôles au théâtre, il n’a jamais caché son ambition pour le septième art, jouant notamment pour Claude Lelouch et Robert Guédiguian. Dans un désir de transmettre son art et sa passion, il est également responsable du département théâtre à l'Institut supérieur des arts de la scène Rick Odums et dispense des formations en théâtre aux éducateurs de l’ERTS (Ecole Régionale du Travail Social). Il intègre la distribution du Visiteur du Futur en 2012, apportant à ce casting jeune et plein d’avenir sa grande expérience !
