Biography
Anatoly Vladimirovich Sofronov (Russian: Анато́лий Влади́мирович Софро́нов; 19 January 1911 – 9 September 1990) was a Soviet Russian writer, poet, playwright, scriptwriter, editor (Ogonyok, 1953-1986) and literary administrator, the Union of Soviet Writers' secretary in 1948-1953. Sofronov was a Stalin Prize laureate (twice, 1948, 1949) and a recipient of the Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour (1981). An ominous figure with the reputation of "one of the most feared literary hangmen of the Stalinist era," Sofronov is best remembered for his play Stryapukha (Стряпуха, The Kookie) which was followed by three sequels and the popular comedy film of the same name. Working with composers like Semyon Zaslavsky, Matvey Blanter, Sigizmund Kats, he co-authored dozens of songs, made popular by the artists like Vladimir Bunchikov, Vladimir Nechayev, Vadim Kozin, Nikolai Ruban, Vladimir Troshin, Olga Voronets, Maya Kristalinskaya, Iosif Kobzon and Nani Bregvadze. Apostrophes was a live, weekly, literary, prime-time, talk show on French television created and hosted by Bernard Pivot. It ran for fifteen years (724 episodes) from January 10, 1975, to June 22, 1990, and was one of the most watched shows on French television (around 6 million regular viewers). It was broadcast on Friday nights on the channel France 2 (which was called "Antenne 2" from 1975 to 1992). The hourlong show was devoted to books, authors and literature. The format varied between one-on-one interviews with a single author and open discussions between four or five authors.
Apostrophes

Grandfather Sliva should not sleep, but guard the young Masha Chubukova, who was in charge of the local amateur activity, as if the girl had not been stolen by the same Stepan and Seraphim, who had fallen in love at first sight until they were unconscious.

Karandash on Ice
The events take place in the 1980s and tell about the relationship between three generations in the family of a retired general, whose grandson, having failed to enter the institute, is drafted into the army. The service on the border does not disappoint him, and the young man decides to continue the family tradition.

The Vityaz sailing corvette, whose team has to endure severe trials, goes on a flight. Relations between the sailors and the stupid and soulless baron von Berg replacing the senior officer did not develop. All this, as well as a storm in the Pacific Ocean and other dangerous adventures, rally people even more and make them even stronger and more courageous.
