During the shoot for an abandoned movie project set in Stavanger, Norway, something went terribly wrong. A sarcastic ping-pong verbal exchange between the selfie-taking father and his precocious nine year old daughter takes an unexpected turn.

Two kids try to buy a puppy in a pet store and won't take no for an answer.

Sisters Thea (14) and Tuva (12) spend their days in town to get away from their alcoholic mother and her partying friends. One day they spot a five year old girl alone in a shopping centre and take her with them.

Everything appears normal in the small Norwegian town of Skudeneshavn. But cycling along the beach road is Lauritz, an eleven year old boy en route to treat himself to an ice cream at The World's Smallest Café. Peddles spinning, wheels skidding, he rides his beloved bike through majestic woods and narrow roads to get to the café. Before sunset he will have lost something valuable, but perhaps gained something more precious.

A lazy afternoon in Stavanger, Norway, a collision course between the two most iconic patterns to ever adorn a fabric is set in motion. Lines are drawn in the sand. Who will run circles around their opponent? Pick a side. Stand back. Tick tock...
