Graf Yoster gibt sich die Ehre [French title: Le comte Yoster a bien l'honneur] is a TV series which followed the adventures of the title’s amateur gentleman detective. It was a success in particular in Germany and in France. Originally the show was a German production in black-and-white but it evolved into a European co-production in colour.
At the heart of the film is the partner selection institute Duogena, which—very progressive for its time—not only works with computers but also uses video technology: as a visual calling card, a video portrait is recorded of each client in the Duogena studio. The task of 40-year-old bachelor Felix Stamm as a Duogena employee is to grapple with the catalogued heart's desires and to coach clients so that they present their quirks and idiosyncrasies, their concerns and wishes to the camera in as positive a light as possible.
"Der Griller" tells the story of hedonist Franz Kaffer, who is working at a grill restaurant in Munich and as a drug dealer alongside. The film paints an atmospheric picture of the so-called "Jet Generation" in "Swinging Munich" that takes a very close look on the late sixties in West Germany – with some peculiar psychedelic elements on top.

Peter Hartung, a student at the technical college, just wanted to take his little brother Paul to boarding school. On the way there, his friend Hans Werner tries to persuade him to swap roles. Peter wouldn't dream of going to school for Hans, but only changes his mind when he makes the acquaintance of Christa, who works at the neighboring fashion school. He has no idea that Christa has just broken off her engagement to Dr. Werner, his future literature teacher. The lessons with his jealous ex-fiancé turn into a gauntlet, but this does nothing to dampen the general good mood. Brother Paul also causes a lot of excitement. Not a day goes by without him plotting a prank. Within the sacred school walls, the wildest boarding school comedy since the introduction of compulsory education unfolds - explosions, police action and fire alarms - but principal Dr. Schwabmann takes it all in his stride.
