This is a story about the inhabitants of a block of flats standing alone on the outskirts of an industrial city. Unemployment, lack of prospects, and powerlessness create a special aura in which events unfold. The main character, 25-year-old Goździk, has lived here since he was born. He does not work or study.

Twelve senior singles from different parts of Poland convene to heal their broken hearts and start a new chapter in their lives in this reality show.

The film tells the story of two Highlander brothers – Maciek and Andrzej. After the death of their father, which Andrzej contributed to, and the loss of his beloved Bronka, Andrzej leaves the family home. On his way, he meets the mysterious Wolfram, an anthropologist and climber. He shares with him his mountaineering technique and knowledge about the Prague origins of the highlanders. Andrzej returns to Zakopane, war breaks out. To protect the Highlanders from wartime destruction, he wants to persuade them to cooperate with the Germans. Andrzej and Maciek are standing on opposite sides of the barricade. The brothers' confrontation is bloody and painful.

Michał, a former musician who gave up his dreams and became an accountant, is asked by his boss to retrieve a truck he had shipped from America. The destination is Michael's former hometown, a port town which Michal left in a hurry years earlier. After retrieving the truck, Michał is involved in a serious accident which forces him to stay in town and reconcile several broken relationships.

Basia has already settled down in her life. She is a housewife and has a loving family. It seems as though she does not miss anything to be happy. Until a moment when an opera diva moves into an apartment upstairs. Basia is enchanted and seduced with her voice. A peculiar relationship is born between them. It develops into a feeling which is not particularly comfortable for either of the two women.

The miner leaves the mine and tries to start a new life.

"True Stories" is a series of stories about ordinary people put in the face of extraordinary challenges. These are stories inspired by life. Without undue pathos and artificial happy ending, but with an optimistic message. The film is based on real events. January 28, 2003, a group of high school students went to climb Rysy. An avalanche killed eight of them. Parents of children who were killed face tragedies. It's hard for them to come to terms with what has happened.

Three guys and a beautiful girl. Their fate will combine the integration leaving the title that is out of control and become a true Recreational apocalypse.

Jurij has a special gift of making people's lives better. He works hard to maintain the status of the best stage hypnotist in Poland, for which he has to pay a high price. During his tours around Poland, when he stages his hypnoshow, Jurij earns big money. But at the same time, treated more as a circus attraction than a professional therapist, he feels that he is loosing his energy and talent. Torn between the moral dilemma and economic profit, Jurij becomes more and more frustrated. When he wipes away his stage makeup and returns to his family home in Ukraine, he becomes a loving son, trying to reconcile with his old father.

With a running camera adult siblings dissect their relations with parents and with each other. The protagonist of the film, affluent businesswoman, who still hasn't come to terms with the death of their mother and father, becomes the director's conscience. He is trying to get closer to his dead parents in his own way - filming the last moments of patients in a hospital.
