Georgian village during the revolution of 1905. The struggle of the peasantry against the landlords. Tariel Golua's son, Levan, leads the rebellion. Tariel himself is in favor of a peaceful solution to the conflict, but when his son is brutally killed, and the houses of the rebels and their supporters are set on fire, Tariel is convinced that it is impossible to gain freedom without an armed struggle.

A just man becomes an outlaw. He is pursued by the police over the years, while he tries to fight the injustice in the world, but he can't figure out the minds of his fellow men, and is often misunderstood.

This chamber drama is set in Georgia on the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. A simple peasant family makes its living by selling yogurt which the Magdany widow takes every morning to the town market. Once, in their mother’s absence, the children – six-year-old Mikho and three-year-old Kato – found an abandoned donkey on a road leading to their village. The foundling was fed, tended, and the moment the donkey opened its big, tender eyes, it was named “Lurdja”, which means “blue-eyed”. Surrounded by love and care, the donkey became a big help in the poor household. But this idyll was not to last long…

A wealthy Ossetian prince adopts a foundling and raises her as his own daughter, Fatima. As Fatima grows up, she falls in love with her stepbrother, Dzhambulat. However, when Dzhambulat goes to war and disappears, Fatima defies her father’s wishes and decides to marry a poor labourer.

The story is based on Konstantine Gamsakhurdia's novel and depicts the social and political changes taking place in Soviet Georgia in the 1930s through the line of the main characters: Tarash Emkhvari and Arzakan Zvambaya.

Based on the autobiographical book "Ya -sam" (I-myself) by Vladimir Mayakovsky the leading Russian Futurist poet of the beginning of the 20th century. He was born in 1893, into a Russian Cossack family in the Transcaucasian kingdom of Georgia, then part of Russian Empire. There he spent his childhood and boyhood attending a grammar school in Kutaisi. Mayakovsky moved to Moscow at the age of 14, after his father's death. He became a poet, an artist, an actor, a writer/director and public speaker.

Problems occur when King George falls in love with Shorena. For her, the King is willing to go against the church. The story is based on famous novel by Konstantine Gamsakhrudia.

Iago escapes from jail, but Girgola attacks his hideout and haves him killed together with his friends. Girgola also kills Nunu’s old father and accuses Nunu of the murder. Nunu is tied to a pole and dies in the exile.
