Biography
Vagareza, the stage name of Hamílton Augusto (Rio de Janeiro, May 2, 1928 – São Paulo, April 18, 1997), was a Brazilian comedian. Vagareza worked in theater, film, and television with great success in the 1950s and 1960s. He starred in the first production of "Escolinha do Professor Raimundo." Vagareza was married to actress and dancer Siwa, with whom he had a daughter, Vânia. The couple founded the Siwa Ballet in São Paulo in 1968. In the 1970s, he edited the Jornal do Ballet in São Paulo.

Hélio, aided by Bebeto and Dorothéia, presents a fake Dorothy Bridge and a Sunday Júnior, parodies of Eartha Kitty and Sammy Davis Junior. While being covered by these fake artists, Hélio searches for a singer for a repertoire based on Carmen Miranda.
