During World War II, a brave, patriotic American Soldier undergoes experiments to become a new supersoldier, "Captain America". Racing to Germany to sabotage the rockets of Nazi baddie "Red Skull", Captain America winds up frozen until the 1990s. He reawakens to find that the Red Skull has changed identities and is now planning to kidnap the President of the United States.

An original Slovenian series that will take us to an idyllic world by the Krka river. The central characters of the series are Irena Rot and Rok Slak, a charming photographer from the city and a nice carpenter from Dolenjska. Their path to happiness will be anything but easy. In a seemingly idyllic village, suspicious things begin to happen, namely someone incites fires and sows fear in the bones of the villagers and firefighters. It seems that some can't wait to stretch their claws around the necks of romantic couples, but it's the fire that ignites the first sparks of love.

The main character of the title lives a completely new life every time. Tomaž Kajzer is a classic hero of the series, but with a mistake. It’s always someone else.

"So it has come to this..." is certainly the most common closing thought of three couples of different generations who each find themselves facing new challenges in life. Marija and Štefan are pensioners who often almost kill each other out of boredom. Darja and Tomaž are a middle-aged couple whose only son went to study abroad. Nika and Matic are a young couple who have just started their journey together. Nika is dominant and very disciplined, while Matic is a dreamer and an artistic soul. Which, of course, is the reason for many arguments.

"Long Dark Night" follows the life of the fictional character Iva Kolar: his experiences as a Croatian University student, his role as a Partisan fighting Hitler's troops during W.W. II, his involvement in his nation's post-war government, and his eventual downfall.

The central theme of all stories is love that eventually everybody die of.

His wife, in the meantime, is a tragic figure who has an unhappy solution to her stifling existence with her husband and children. In part II, set in 1924, the fascists and communists are fighting for footholds among the population and in the government, and the Vrhunc family is torn apart because their own allegiances are divided between the two opposing extremes. In part III, the family suffers the most, as Nazi collaborators are rounded up and shot by Partisans, and chaos reigns.
