Le Regard is Nour-Eddine Lakhmari's first film. It is a film about abuse of power, guilt, and redemption. In Le Regard, 70-year-old French photographer Albert Tueis finds himself confronted with his past. As he prepares for an exhibition that will bring together all the works from his photographic career, he remembers the photos he took at the age of 19. A soldier during Morocco's war of independence, the young Albert was a photographer for the French army. The photos he took at the time were never published. One thing is clear: without these photos, the retrospective of his career will not be complete. Albert Tuies decides to return to Morocco to find the negatives he buried there. But he finds himself confronted with a new Morocco. And as he encounters the present and the rivalries and difficulties it hides, increasingly powerful and brutal images from the past resurface.

Follows an elite police unit traveling across Morocco to pursue organized crime while confronting personal struggles that shape them into deeply human and empathetic characters.

BurnOut is a film about the grinding down of hope by the contradictory values and morals of Moroccan society and how a mere chance encounter can throw everything that is taken for granted as normal and correct into question once one has glimpsed the possibility of the love and companionship that lies just beyond the walls of the Moroccan society. A shoe shiner Ayoub, a bourgeois couple, Jad and Ines in a loveless marriage, a wealthy but ailing art collector, and a young medical student Aida moonlighting as an escort, each interaction forever changing them and setting them on an irreversible trajectory towards catharsis or total collapse.

The 10-year-old Badre lives with his parents in a small coastal town, Safi in Morocco. His father is a fisherman, like most men in the village. Every day, Badre waits for him to return from the sea. One day a traveling puppet theater appears. Badre is upset when the performance ends with the play's main character, a poor fisherman, being overpowered by a sea monster.
