A tragicomic documentary that portrays the very last acts of a long marriage. A film about the tentative search for a beginning of what - finally, and unfortunately - is over.

"Bedlam!" - a reconstruction of Moa Junström's summer in a closed psychiatric ward. Based on diary notes, the film mixes documentary images from inside the psyche with text messages and reconstructions of events. After being slowly broken down by a boyfriend working in the same dementia department as Moa, the situation becomes so desperate that relatives feel compelled to contact inpatient care.

Denize and Filip have everything ready: cot, pram, baby clothes, even the car seat is fitted. Their baby could arrive at any moment. But during a final routine check, the midwife suddenly freezes. There is no longer a heartbeat. Inez's heart has stopped beating.
