Three individuals in the city learn the meaning of love, loss and loneliness in this romantic drama. Adam, a successful young chef, expends his energy in creating confectionery masterpieces for weddings, yet has still to find his own bride. Then there is Sufi, who each day runs for miles in an attempt to outrun the memories of his dead wife. Finally, there is Imaan, a young playwright who discovers that theatre is a stage of where her past is finally resolved and her future is unveiled. All three strangers are inevitably linked to a single dramatic moment that transforms their lives forever.

It tells the story of two influential Islamic sisters, Layla and Amina, who are adored by many for their robed image and generous nature. The two lead Laymina Shares, a charitable foundation that has successfully gained the trust of the community to the point of mobilizing thousands of followers to donate through various campaigns. However, the success of the fundraiser began to be questioned when allegations arose that some of the donations were not channeled to the target group, but were instead used for personal gain.

The movie begins when Opie finds a letter from Anizah saying that she wants to marry her boyfriend, Fazley, and has buried her dreams to continue her studies in the UK. Opie, Suzanna Adif and Tajol rush to stop her, and the movie chronicles their misadventures.

Ever since Zul got married, he stops celebrating Hari Raya. Linda suffered stroke which paralyzed her body. Zul devoted his life entirely to maintaining his wife and raising his children as well as performing various day-to-day jobs to support his family. Occasionally Linda wanted to fast just like before, but Zul did not allow. Worrying it will affect Linda's health. Sometimes Zul complains and feels his wife just needs to sit at home so that she does not bother him and the children too much. However, his young children did not understand the suffering that Zul is experiencing and they tried to bring back the joy despite being strictly prohibited by their father.
