Manolo is an adolescent who dreams about making movies. It's 1968 and, among his friends, he spends his last year before entering university on the beach and listening rock music. But his life changes when he met a hippie young girl: Emma. Now, with the intention to win her, Manolo will start to make unlucky decitions.

Antonio is not satisfied with his physique. When he meets again with Cynthia, her eternal love from her youth, he tries to conquer her, but she announces that she is in love with Gerardo and asks him for help to conquer him. Antonio will do anything to avoid this relationship, while he undergoes fun treatments, diets and exercises to lose weight and become the type of man he thinks Cynthia likes.

The son of a millionaire and his butler are trying to boycott his father's wedding by contracting the services of a fake wedding planner. However, they have to confront the future mother-in-law, who will not be tricked that easily and will do anything to make the wedding a reality.

It narrates the sentimental adventures of five great friends, who must face compromising situations with their respective partners, with disastrous consequences, but no less fun.

Esposos wants to banish prejudices and stereotypes by trying to encourage reflection in our society. We will see well-known characters, citizens, activists, my friends, my family, a lesbian couple, a gay couple, heterosexual couples, the director's boyfriend and many others.
