Biography
She started acting when she was 14-years-old, appearing in movies and commercials in Hong Kong. At 15, she auditioned for a girl band to be launched by BMG Records called "4 in Love" and passed with flying colors. From then on, she was called "Rainie" to fit in with the weather-based named girls of the group; she was originally called Lily in the industry. She moved to Taiwan and pursued her acting career as she lived with her co-band members under one roof. She starred in various dramas starting with the mega blockbuster Meteor Garden where she played a supporting, yet pivotal role as the cute Xiao You (Hana Yori Dango's "Yuki" Chinese counterpart).
Known For
"Hello, Saturday" is the rebranding of the popular Chinese show "Happy Camp", hosted by He Jiong and with a fixed group of regular celebrity members. The program showcases the talent of various stars as well as social topics through creative and diverse content and games. It aims to spread positive energy while keeping up with the current trends and leading youth culture.

SINGER, formerly known as I AM A SINGER, is a large-scale singing competition program co-produced by Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) and Mango TV. The first four seasons were adapted from the Korean reality show I Am a Singer produced by MBC. Beginning with the 2017 season, the program was rebranded as SINGER. The series brings together established vocalists from the Chinese music industry as well as internationally renowned artists to compete on stage. In each episode, the results are determined by a panel of 500 in-studio audience judges who vote to decide the singers’ rankings and eliminations. Starting with the 2024 season, the show shifted from pre-recorded broadcasts to fully live performances and introduced an additional panel of 500 online international audience judges.

It started filming in January 2011 and wrapped on 30 April. It was first broadcast in Taiwan on free-to-air Taiwan Television from 17 April 2011, every Sunday at 22:00 and cable TV SET Metro from 23 April 2011, every Saturday at 21:00. Love You was nominated in 2011 for four awards at the 46th Golden Bell Awards, including Best Leading Actor in a Television Series for Joseph Chang, Best Directing for a Television Series for Ming-chang Chen and Best Television Series.
