Wolffs Revier is a German television series.

Brothers Helmut and Wolfgang Kaminski live on opposite sides of the still porous Iron Curtain: Helmut works as a reporter for radio in the American sector, Wolfgang as an SED functionary for the construction of socialism. His father Otto was a brigade leader at the large construction site in Stalinallee, where the demonstrations began on June 16. On June 17, 1953, the East Berlin workers formed an uprising.

Marie Franklin has erased all memories of her past. She wants nothing and no one to remind her of the great loss she suffered a few years ago. However, she refuses to accept that she is not only harming herself, but also her son Thomas. Marie's headstrong neighbor, Judge Wilbert Scony, doesn't like the situation at all. Compassion must have its limits, grief must come to an end. But Wilbert seems to be alone in this opinion. It is only when Thomas gets into serious trouble and is in danger of losing not only his scholarship but also his freedom that Marie begins to wake up. A bus of refugees from the war is stopped by soldiers. They search the passengers and take away a young woman. The villagers observe the alarming scene and look on, indifferently. The teacher is the only one who tries to show some solidarity with the young woman.
