A pawn shop proprietor buys used goods from desperate locals – as much to play perverse power games as for his own livelihood, but when the perfect rump and a backed-up toilet enter his life, he loses all control.

Former political activist receives compensation from the Brazilian government for the disappearance of her husband, victim of the repression triggered by the Brazilian military dictatorship. With the money, she can buy her an apartment and free herself from this dreadful condition she lived for decades. At the moment of moving to the new home, however, a visit arises that forces her to review her entire life.

Three women with very different views on life and love go on a trip together, leaving from one urban setting to another where crude nature prevails. Eva, a mature and pragmatic woman, invites the free spirited and uncompromised Melina and Keithylennye, a young former Tecno Brega dancer, to join her on the journey. On the way, the events experienced individually by each of the three reveal the uncertainties and the different meanings of the trip for each of them.
