Biography

Taiji Ishimori is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) since 2018, where he is a member of Unbound Co. He is a former three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion alongside Robbie X, and a one-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion alongside former Bullet Club stablemates Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. Ishimori is best known for his 12-year run with Pro Wrestling Noah, where he became one of the promotion's most decorated junior heavyweights. During his time in Noah, he held the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship three times and set the record for the longest reign in the title's history at 405 days during his first reign. He also captured the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship a record six times and won the Nippon TV Cup Jr. Heavyweight Tag League a record four times. Ishimori also competed in Impact Wrestling, where he became a one-time Impact X Division Champion. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked Ishimori No. 83 in the PWI 500 in 2022.
