Alberto has fled as far as possible from his conservative family. He lives in Berlin with his partner, and works as a comics illustrator. But an unexpected event forces him to return home and face the past.

Spain, 1979. Irene is an aspiring writer who is obsessed with the delicate ghost at the library she works at.

Santi is a 10 year old boy who, after discovering that his grandfather Pelayo is deeply affected by the death of his wife and suffering from Alzheimers, finds, through fantasy and old comics, a way to help his grandfather get back the will to live.

Marina is preparing an audition in a drastic moment of her life when she has to reconsider her vocation and sexual orientation. But the audition piece (separata), a crappy commercial script, will help to find herself.
