Peter Weiss' The Aesthetics of Resistance meets a General Strike in Barcelona on September 2010. That night's discussions will be put into question by five anonymous friends who are no longer adolescents nor communist militants and yet also try to oppose the state of things, as did the protagonists of Weiss's novel.

The director reworks Dreyer’s La Passion de Jeanne d’Arc, isolating the fragments in which Artaud appears and adding intertitles that reproduce the debates of the Surrealist assembly of November 23, 1926, the meeting in which he was expelled from the group. Artaud emerges as a martyr, while André Breton and his circle become his “fundamentalist executors” (Javier H. Estrada).
